So....

Generally surviving well given the general state of the world.  I adopted two cats at the start of the pandemic as we moved to working from home, which has kept me going.

I also started watching Chinese dramas, which is definitely helping my comprehension improve, even if it's slow.  So I survived 2020 by watching too much of The Untamed.

Plans for 2021 are to:

• upgrade my garden so it's better suited for growing vegetables and having people over
• practice conversational Chinese and keep working on my reading and listening comprehension
• run regularly
• cook things from the many cookbooks I have and rarely use.

I'm lucky to be in Australia which has handled COVID pretty well in general - so we're no longer under lockdown, we had eliminated local transmission and are now just dealing with a small breakout from NSW. Looking overseas is terrifying!

I have too much wine. And it's been hard to access in boxes for the last year. But I now have new wine racks under the stairs and it's all easily accessible. So I can have a glass of wine of an evening without any drama.
